Pension Riedl - Vienna

The location was superb, only a short walk to the attractions. Just a bummer about the unreliable WiFi .

Convenient location, close to city. Pleasant staff and a comfortable room although a little tight.

Couldn't contact the hotel through the day. Eventually arrived to a locked front door and rang their emergency number; then received a code by text to open the door.

Clean, excellent value hotel, the location was perfect and nice so close to an office building. The breakfast was good with a good choice of delightful food. Got economy double room with shower when arrived, liked that...

Pension Riedl is conveniently located close to the Cat airport trainstation (walking distance) and close to a subway station. Clean, high-ceiling rooms with parquet floor and modern bathroom

The location is super convenient for exploring Vienna.

The walls were thin, awesome for intrusive sounds from neighboring rooms. I found some of the bed linens to be unclean, which left me feeling uncomfortable .

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent location. Breakfast buffet (optional) was simple yet good. Room was comfortable and clean.

It is what it is. Nice and simple. Not a lot of amenities but the upside is it feels like "your place" while you're there. Again, staff is willing to help any way they can if you need something. Had a cold shower one morning after sleeping in - historic building means you have to tolerate some of the quirks.

The balcony and furniture in the room were nice, it was generally well equipped and the staff were friendly. It was located close to restaurants/bars/other sites and an underground station.

A hairdryer would have been useful (it had everything else). Also the toliet/shower room was quite small but as we were only staying for a night it didn't really matter

Self check-in made arrival hassle-free.

Great place to stay for a trip to Vienna. Modest hotel, easy location, brand-new room. Satisfactory breakfast with a lot of food, excellent staff.

The room was narrow like a corridor, no hot water in the morning, tv was not functioning, the noise of the waterpump in the bathroom did not let me sleep all night, the towels were hard and old and smelled bad.The pension does not have a 24hours reception only some hours during the day, I had to wait outside the door until somebody came to let me in. Too expensive for what it offers, its better to avoid it .

While the location is nice, everything else was a tragedy. The walls are paper-thin-you hear everything, including unsavory guest activities. The check-in process was dreadful. I had to sort things out myself like I'm some sort of maid. I even expected a complimentary treat, but I guess that's too much to ask for here.

excellent location

I didn't realize my room wouldn't have a personal bathroom. It had it's own shower but kind of like a hostel, the bathroom was communal in the hallway. Plus it wasn't really a bed that I was offered, rather more like a canopy or sofa. It was still quite comfortable though but I just didn't expect it to be like that.

Clean, comfortable room in a decent location, free internet.
